How it works

Subik never touches your bank or your cards. It only looks at the receipts and renewal notices merchants already email you.

Connect your Gmail (read-only)
You sign in with Apple or Google and connect the mailbox your receipts land in. Subik asks for read-only access — it can never send, delete or modify a message.

Subik finds your subscriptions
A scan looks for payment receipts and renewal notices, extracts the merchant, amount, currency and billing cadence, and asks you to confirm each match. Raw emails are never stored.

What we access
- Read-only Gmail access (
gmail.readonly) to find receipts and renewal notices. - Structured facts only: merchant, amount, currency, billing cadence, charge dates.
- Processed on our servers in the EU (Frankfurt); the access token is stored encrypted in a vault.
- Optional, anonymous usage analytics and crash reports — you can turn analytics off in the app.
What we never do
- Store your email content — no bodies, subjects, senders or attachments are ever saved.
- Let a human read your mail, sell your data, or use it for advertising or credit decisions.
- Use your Gmail data to train AI models.
- Keep anything after you disconnect a mailbox or delete your account.
