Delete your Subik account

Developer: The Oat Labs · App: Subik (iPhone and Android)

Deletion is immediate and permanent. It removes your account, every subscription and charge you tracked, your connected mailboxes and their access tokens, and your reminder settings. It cannot be undone. Deleting your account does not cancel a Subik Pro subscription — cancel that in the App Store or Google Play first (see below).

1. Delete from inside the app (fastest)

  1. Open Subik and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Privacy & Data.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm Delete in the sheet that appears.

You are signed out as soon as deletion completes. There is no waiting period and nothing to confirm by email.

2. Delete by email (if you no longer have the app)

Send an email to subik@theoatlabs.com with the subject “Delete my Subik account”, from the same email address you used to sign in (the Apple or Google account). If you signed in with Apple using “Hide My Email”, write from the relay address Apple created or tell us the approximate date you created the account so we can locate it.

We will verify that the request comes from the account holder, delete the account, and confirm by reply — normally within a few days and always within 30 days.

3. What is deleted

  • Your Subik account and sign-in link to Apple or Google.
  • Your profile (name, language, currency) and notification settings, including the device push token.
  • Every subscription — detected or added manually — with its charge history and reminders.
  • Every connected mailbox record and its scan history.
  • The Gmail access token: it is revoked with Google and then wiped from our encrypted vault, so Subik can no longer read that mailbox even if a copy existed.
  • Your entitlement and scan-credit records in Subik.

Encrypted database backups that still contain your rows are overwritten within 30 days.

4. What is kept, and why

  • Purchase records held by Apple, Google and our purchase processor (RevenueCat) stay for as long as refund, dispute and accounting rules require. They contain no Subik data beyond the purchase itself.
  • Crash reports and usage analytics are pseudonymous (a random ID, never your name or email) and expire on their own — crash reports after 90 days, analytics after at most 12 months.
  • Support emails you sent us, for up to 24 months, so we can follow up on your request.

5. Cancel Subik Pro first

Subscriptions are billed by the app stores and continue until you cancel them there:

  • iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Subik → Cancel Subscription.
  • Android: Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Subik → Cancel.

6. Only want to disconnect Gmail?

You can revoke Subik’s mailbox access without deleting your account: in the app, Settings → Privacy & Data → Connected inboxes → Revoke, or from your Google Account permissions. Subscriptions you already confirmed stay in your list; automatic detection for that mailbox stops.
